Grays Shopping Centre unveils parking offer for commuters
The management at Grays Shopping Centre has unveiled a new car parking offer designed to encourage local people to commute into London by train to Fenchurch Street rather than commuting by car.
Grays Shopping Centre is offering annual car parking permits for only £375 plus VAT. Inclusive of VAT that works out at only £8.47 per week. Quarterly permits are also available for only £110.
The car park above Grays Shopping Centre has space for a staggering 800 cars spread over six storeys and can even offer a small number of allocated bays for people who would prefer the same parking space every day. The car park is accessible 24 hours a day and also benefits from CCTV and security patrols.
Grays Shopping Centre is located only a two minute walk from Grays
Station which has trains into London Fenchurch Street in the heart
of the City around every 10-15 minutes with average journey times
of around 35-40 minutes.
We have space for literally hundreds
of cars and we are located only a two-minute walk from fast
and reliable trains into central London. We have therefore
pitched the annual
cost of a parking permit at a level which we believe will encourage
many people to take up the offer. We are currently developing
and improving Grays Shopping Centre and turning it into an
essential resource for
local people. Increased use of the car park is one of our central
objectives and we will shortly be embarking on a car park survey
amongst our shoppers to ascertain how it can be improved to
ensure the Centre is maximising benefits to them.
